I played Chopin Etude no. 8 and the L.H has a lot of jumps in it. I just worked with the "bounce" of the piano . You can also try adding an extra octave between jumps, that will make the jumps you actually have to play seem easy. Try changing the dynamics around, playing it as soft and as loud as you can. Basicly, I would keep playing it in differant ways to avoid mindless repition until I found something that worked. Did that help at all? Sorry if it that wasn't what you were looking for.
