I like Faure's Nocturne in Db, Debussy's Nocturne and of Chopin's. C# minor, Ab and C minor are my favourites

I presume you're referring to Chopin nocturnes here (I'm quite partial to Faure's Op.36 Nocturne myself).  I'd have to say Op.48 No.1 is my favourite, followed by Op.55 No.1, and then Op.15 No.1.

Have any of you listened to Chopin Op.9, No.3?? That piece is so amazingly beautiful, I fell in love with it the first time I heard it!

BTW, my other favs are:

Chopin Op.55 No.2, Op.27 No.1, Op.37 No.1

Grieg Op.54 No.4

Scriabin Nocturne for Left Hand

Chopin Op. 27 No. 2

I tend to like things that I've dived into myself the best...and that piece is perfect.

90% of Chopin's. And besides the mentioned one of Grieg:

- Tschaikovsky: Op 10, no 1: Charming piece.

- Field: No. 4 in A;  No 8 in A,  No 12 in G;  No. 14 in C. Sorry, I can't decide. All his 18 Nocturnes are gorgeous.
