This is from my junior recital. I am playing violin and my friend, Alex, is playing piano. I have permission from him to post this.  Anyway, please let me know what you think. The first movement is to be played "Mit leidenschaftlichem Ausdruck" ('with feelings of passionate expression'). Enjoy.

Thanks, Luc. Great piece, huh?
Floristan might be speaking to us in the first movement. The second movement is more reserved and comtemplative. Eusebius perhaps? Alex and I decided that the third movement evokes dancing gobblins (not literally, unfortunately).
Schumann said (probably sarcastically) that he was not happy with the first sonata (the A Minor) so he decided to try his hand at a second sonata. The second sonata is longer and more...penetrating emotionally. He couldn't have been all that unhappy with his first sonata because he pushed for its publication. I'm thankful that he did.

It sounds great, both the piano and violin give this piece an incredible expression... Great job! ;D
