Good music theory website.

https://www.smu.edu/totw/toc.htm

Finally a website that explains basic music theory in a clear way. It has a lot of MIDI examples to illustrate each topic or sub-topic.

I kinda like it. I'm getting my own intuition for it, through improv. And improv is always fun...I never sit around and study theory for hours or anything. Bleh.

interesting, good for when i have random issues with my harmony class stuff in the middle of the night...

and for the record, i love theory!! it's the bomb, however i only started really liking it when doing it at uni and moving out of the really basic stuff, AMEB theory exams are just not cool and really turned me off theory, but getting into secondary chords and neopolitan 6ths and stuff is fabo!

No one has posted any others, but I guess everyone here knows of every music theory site, but for those who don't, I have ALWAYS used this site, and I swear it is packed full of everything. This site taught me how to construct Scales and all that so far, if I ever get the time I will move onto the other stuff like intervals etc. >_< I'm such a newb, lol

Um, how does one get into the site? That links takes me to an advertisement to buy their CD ROM...

The site states:

Theory on the Web has been discontinued as of Janaury 1, 2010 to be published as a new Music Fundamentals interactive text/CD-ROM: Fundamentals for the Aspiring Musician - release date May 15, 2010.

Ah, yes, now I notice: I didn't realize it was a resurrected thread. :-)
