What's it called?

Anybody know the name of that piece people play on the bagpipe during funerals? You know, its the one that sounds like its irish or scotish. That way, I might be able to find a .mid file of it or at least get the sheetmusic for it.

They often play Amazing Grace at funerals -- is that it?

Potato-Weaver's Song

What is this? Tried searching for it and nothing of note came up. Come on ppl, just think for a minute, what piece of music immediately enters your mind when you hear a BAGPIPE? BTW, it may or may not, be played at funerals, but it symbolizes the bagpipe it is almost always associated with it, and it even accentuates the bagpipe's timbre.

Oh Danny Boy perhaps?

yep.  that's the real thing.  never would have thought to look for it in the airforce miltary band.  guess that's where they have the most dead people right now.  will play it in my heart all day, week, and year for seven lost in pennsylvania.
