I just started it. I can play the first two pages really well, the 3rd page not so well, and the rest not at all.
For me the quality of my play is directly proportional to the amount I've practiced.

I'm just practicing other pieces, you see
I'm not very into Chopin's 1st ballade, I prefer his 4th one (which is much more difficult than the 1st one!)

Right now, the only part I can play is the ending (yes, yes, that nasty part). It's the only part that is still in "memory".

Haven't played any of the Ballades yet, but when I get around to it I'm gonna learn the second. It's my favorite by quite some margin.

New Piano Piece by Chopin Discovered – Free Piano Score
A previously unknown manuscript by Frédéric Chopin has been discovered at New York’s Morgan Library and Museum. The handwritten score is titled “Valse” and consists of 24 bars of music in the key of A minor and is considered a major discovery in the wold of classical piano music.
