i agree

allchopin wut do you do for warmup?

For me I stretch my hands a million different ways until they're all relaxed then I start playing a little scales, a little trill practice from Hanon, octaves, then finish it off with chromatic scales  ;D

haha i didnt really expect a reply on this one- just a piece of advice. I dont stretch or anything. i have another post about this somewhere- i really just kinda start working on the song at hand, and trying to play it really fast, in order to loosen up. after about 2 hours at the piano, i feel so loose that i could almost play anything (almost...). yes i end with chromatic scale too. EVERY time i get off, i ritually do a full descending chromatic with my right hand- have been fot eh past 4 yrs of so.

o man if you want a fast two handed chromatic up, check out the very end of chopin's scherzo #1- absolutely amazing! (well i have the dmitris sgouros verison) i think going down the scale is much easier.
