sooo simple..but i love it..i find myself loving the simplicity of this type of music...i care not to learn transcen. etudes..or the rach 3...hammerklavier...or the works of alkan or sorajbi...mind you..i love all this music..i actually have most of what i just named on CD's or Mp3's..but listening and playing are two different worlds to me..and this is what i love to play (reffer to link above)

just wanted to share my new finding

i'd greatly appreciate it..man i love this little piece

also..if anyone else knows of pieces that you feel can fall under this kind of catagory..please..feel free to link recordings or just recomend pieces here and there...it'd be nice to explore this side of music for once..

Hey I played that! It was grade 7 or 8 RCM, my scanner is busted, so I can't get the sheets sry.

or atleaste the propper opus number or name of the piece so that i can search for it easier at my local music shop

yeah it sounds great!

bartok wrote quite alot of easier pieces, check out the microcosmos

also, look out for recordings of schumann's album for the young, aswell as tchaikovsky's

great music doesnt have to be hard!

siberian husky, who is playing the bartok? it sounds so clear and there's no 'slap' to the keys which is unusual in the percussive playing (which is hard for most pianists).
