Pathetique Sonata - Need help on a particular part

At the "Allegro de molto e con brio" part, the first bar shows the bass notes as quaver notes, which is correct. However, after the first bar they are shown as minims, I presume to make the score neater. The problem is that now I can't see which notes in the bass the notes in the treble are supposed to fall on. Could anyone please explain this, thanks


EDIT: sorry its not at the start of the "Allegro de molto e con brio" part that i'm having trouble, its actually at bar 35 that I get stuck

I had the same question but now i know the answer.
As a general rule, you shouldn't depend so much on seeing the location of the notes in the bars to know which fall with each other. You should do it by knowledge of timing values of notes. So, in the score each  LH tremolo stands for a quarter note and you should adjust the right hand according to this.

You will find all right hand notes either quarter notes or half-notes. So for quarter notes, they are played for a duration of one tremolo (C-C) and for half notes play them for 2 tremolos (C-C, C-C).
