I had the same question but now i know the answer.
As a general rule, you shouldn't depend so much on seeing the location of the notes in the bars to know which fall with each other. You should do it by knowledge of timing values of notes. So, in the score each LH tremolo stands for a quarter note and you should adjust the right hand according to this.
You will find all right hand notes either quarter notes or half-notes. So for quarter notes, they are played for a duration of one tremolo (C-C) and for half notes play them for 2 tremolos (C-C, C-C).
