Happy Birthday doc!
I was listening to his recording of Alkan's Grande Sonata op 33, absolutely amazing. I had always thought Lewenthal's quasi-faust was better but I compared the two (along with Ronald Smith's recording) and now I actually prefer Hamelin. Libetta probably has the edge in the first movement though.
