What grade is this piece?
on: September 05, 2005, 08:06:18 PM
I have a copy of a Chopin piece opus 64 number 2. I think it's a prelude in 3/4.  Starts in 4 sharps goes into 5 flats for a short time then back to 4 sharps if that helps identification.

Any idea what grade it is? (UK grades 1-8)  I'm guessing it's about grade 7.

Thanks

Andy

Mmmm, the fast bits are tricky.  Thinking about it, in comparison it seems more difficult than my old grade 7 pieces.  Perhaps I need to change my fingering.

Thanks

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive.
