please say goodbye it is polite and courtious dont just leave it is bad etiquete if someone makes the effort to talk to you, you wouldn't do it in life so don't do it over the internet

people get disconnected..the chat itseld boots people frequenty...people may just be sneaking in during their work time and have to log off quickly for various reasons..sometiems computers shut off..people may hit "ESC" with their pinky and accidentally close the window...

in a british accent it phonetically translates as 'gobby nutcase'

gobby meaning someone who is loud and talks too much, and nutcase meaning they are crazy....
