For me personally...  If I ever find myself practing a difficult section that's irratating me and boring me...  Then I just practice it in a different way.  If it's a difficult run for example and I'm practicing it slowly forever maybe I'll try with different rythms...  Or maybe different accents or dynamics.

Also another thing I find helpful is have more then 1 thing to practice everyday.  I have multiple pieces I'm working on so once I get bored of one and just feel like I can't concentrate anymore I go onto a different piece.  One piece from every era always helps.  Because it feels like I start all over that day, when I start on a different era that I started on(if that makes any sense at all).

I also find it helpful to motivate me in general before a practice session is listen to a lot of music by my favorite pianists.  Inspires me to play that well...  If I'm going through a piece and I keep messing up in one place and just want to skip over it I always think to myself...  Rubinstien definately wouldn't skip this part because he was bored...

Anyways that's just my two cents...!

Changing pieces definitely helps. I try to work on a 2 or 3 pieces at a time so I can go back and forth between them without getting bored.

But last night, I tried working on 5 different pieces, and my interest and fun level grew by leaps and bounds. I just couldn't take my self away from the piano. For the first time, I practiced forover 2 hours. I usually get bored after half and hour, but from now on.
