Music Minus one accompaniment CD for concerto practice?

I am learning Mozart's concerto no.21 nowadays. I saw the Music Minus One edition for it which has included in it an accompaniment CD and a performance CD. The accompaniment CD contains the orchestral part played at -20% speed for practicce purposes.

I just wanted to know whether it is worth the 40 bucks and whether it will help to improve my experience with this piece of music or it won't do much difference......

imagine that it could only help. i want one, too. except i can't decide which concerto to go for. just listening to k488 k503 and beethoven's concerto's 1 and 2 (which sound similar to mozart).

I just play along with the full recordings I have. Cheaper. And it's basically the same, except the cadenzas. Then there's more options too, with the tempo and interpretation you want. Forty bucks seems like an awful lot to shell out for one CD with a score. Just my opinion, though.

Anyway, if you listen to the piece a lot, you can play it mentally too, works just as well. You wouldn't perform with a Music Minus One CD, so why practice with it?
