how many here are evacuating for hurricane rita?

I for one am, so if you don't hear from me for a couple of days that is the reason and if you don't hear from me again. I will be......

whereabouts are you located?  i have some friends in north carolina.  haven't heard the latest.  where is the hurricane headed?  will pray for your safety.

Houston, TX. NC is not in the path. looks like it might be a hurricane category 3 or 4 when it hits. WOOHOO!!! bye bye trailer.

do you have insurance.  i hope so!  grab your papers, ok.  many of those people in lousiana didn't have back ups anywhere else, and now all their paperwork is under water (as you know).  i feel angry about people who go and sell other property before even asking and trying to figure out who owned what.  they need to take some time before just taking.

ps i remember now, you talking about living there in texas.  sorry!  just watched the news and saw the storm beginning to take it's toll.  hope you are alright right now.

yeah real hard.

yep got papers. working on getting everything together. It is kinda weird trying to decide what is valuable and what is not.

My family is evacuating, but is having difficulty getting a hotel room, so they may end up spending the time in College Station with my sister and me.

They were all full even out in San Antonio and Dallas.

If it turns to the east and hits New Orleans like Lili in 2003, then *shudders* It's a category 5 now.
