I was paid 3 pints of guiness and a scampi in a basket.

This is going to vary wildly. Taking inflation into consideration, Paderewski probably got more than the rolling stones.

ok, by concert, I mean, a commercial one, or at least playing at a formal concert where people have to buy ticket to get in...

not the ones for free.. for example, even my school has "concert", but the school concert is just to give the parents an impression of what their kids are doing at school...

If this helps, at colleges I think performers can get from $1,000 to $5,000 and up to $10,000.

Well, AFAIK, top-notch pianists run at around $50,000-60,000 per concert, some probably higher.

I have no idea about the intermediately known pianists, but Pavarotti, the singer charged $100,000, for one performance at the Ambassador foundation, in california.

Depends on where you play. Sometimes I get paid for playing at concerts, sometimes I don't.
