A suggestion for Bernhard
on: October 13, 2005, 01:47:48 PM
Hi to everyone:
I have to say that Bernhard is doing an excellent work here, helping all of us to improve our skills. Your knowldgement is very big and interesting so I think you should write a book. It's only a suggestion, but you've done most of the work writing here so you can copy-paste some parts, and edit a bit others. I'm not specially talking about publishing, but It's very easy to write it o Word or other text edition software or in a way like the Wikipedia, where you can edit it when you want, and other people can add more information ( i have this spanish resource to create them freely https://www.eapuntes.com/?i=en but i think there might be more on the net. This one seems to be the same in english https://www.jot.com/index.php). Even a blog system. I don't know, but I' sure that a lot of peolple here won't have any problem helping you with this. You can even write it like a common book and then save it as a pdf.
Another good idea is to make a post with all the posts he wrote organising it by topics (as Bernhard did in some posts)
I'm saying this because, despite the benefits of the forum, to look for information like bernhard's one (schedule, studiing skills... etc) in my opinion it's easier to look into a book, you know, an organised system.
You do this or not, but continue with your excellent work!!! I'm waiting for your opinions.
Congratulations
Héctor

We have been suggesting this over and over again for years.

I think by now, only a dozen cases of excellent Pinot Noir could potentially sway him, plus a bottle of cheap wine banged tenderly over his head to nudge him some more ;)

Book / Wikipedia / Jedi master training video etc

One among many.

I think many have written stuff here though - [I've read a fair amount of other posts] - there's even a certain dynamic if someone says something that isn't correct or complete, or asks a question that triggers a thread of posts from different people that makes the whole thing more than a blog or book by one person would be. Besides, if Bernhard writes a book, he should sell it, not give it away, IMO.

Hanon is God, lift your fingers and tense your muscles as hard as you can [see we'll get some more good stuff now :) ]

I have about that many cases of Pinot Noir right now.  I'd give it up for the cause.

¿maybe the wiki system? If not, it can be interesting to make an Index of the most "important" posts here

Did I hear someone mention Pinot Noir? :D

I will start working on it straightaway! :P

It is a good suggestion, but the Pinot Noir suggestion is much better  :D;D

I have the Pinot....Admittedly, the really fine "futures" I purchased won't arrive until March of 2006, so you still have a little time. 8)

What someone should do is write an awesome FAQ linking to all his posts and other great posts by other members.
