I love this concerto also; it's probably my favorite of the five Rubinstein piano concertos.  I used to have on LP the recordings by Raymond Lewenthal and Michael Ponti which were both wonderful.  The only one I have now is the Joseph Banowetz recording which is well played, well recorded, but somehow lacks the fire and passion of the Lewenthal and Ponti recordings.
