counterpoint analysis (bach invention no.10)
on: October 18, 2005, 07:52:02 AM
i don't know what to call the bits that are randomly in the vaguest way based on something else, like all the little movements in 3rds etc, what is it called?! as in like the first bar is the motive, and then there's countersubjects, the motive inversed, etc. but this invention is full of random nothings that i don't know what they're related to. if anyone knows what i'm talking about and has a clue please respond or i'll die!!

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. (Hunter Thompson)
