Piano Music of Taneyev
on: October 22, 2005, 06:46:46 PM
Does anyone know where I can get hold of Taneyev's solo piano music.  I have his Prelude and Fugue in G sharp minor. but am desperatley seeking his other works.  Namely his 5 scherzi, and theme and variations!  Any information would be gratefully received.

Also Rachmaninoff - 4 Improvisations (Rachmaninoff, Taneyev, Glazunov, Arensky) - were published by Hinshaw, now out of print - anyone any suggestions???

Best wishes,

Pete

Thanks though ;D  Did anyone check the piano-e-competition?? I seem to remember one of the russian guys there played a prelude and fugue - Im useless at remembering the key though. could it have been Eb??  I seem to remember it being quite good. It was either e-comp or Hamamatsu - unfortunately they have now taken down the Hamamatsu videos - much to my disappointment.
