Berlioz-Redon: Serenade from Damnation of Faust
on: November 03, 2005, 06:18:26 AM
It seems there are many people on this forum with access to obscure sheet music . . . would anybody happen to have this piece?

I heard it in a very lively and charming recording by Francis Plante (recorded in 1928 when he was about 90), but i have never heard of it except in reference to this recording.  In a pinch I suppose I could transcribe it . . but thats hard. :)

thanks in advance to anybody who can help!

There are 2 sources for this score.

The first is Mr Natsui who is a private collector from japan. This piece is listed in his collection on the following site.

https://www.ne.jp/asahi/piano/natsui/composer.htm

You can send him an e mail and ask for a copy. He has helped me out on a couple of occasions, but he has not made a pdf of all his scores.

If that fails and you don't mind paying for it, you can order a copy via the British Library.
The piece you need is listed in their integrated catalogue.

Thanks a lot!

For some reason neither of the links work for me though . . . any idea why?
