on: November 05, 2005, 09:16:57 PM
hello. does anybody know what the piece is that i think is in C minor, and goes:
G (crotchet) (then up) Eb (crotchet) (then down) B/C trill... A B (minim) C.
a bit of a vague description
but... i keep hearing it in my head.
thanks in advance for any help.

I think this is the end of the second mov't theme of Schubert's E flat piano trio. BTW, this piece is used to great effect's in Stanley Kubrick's wonderful Barry Lyndon.

I hat it when I hear pieces in my head and can't place them... I go insane until I can't find out what it is.

It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.
A world, in short, totally unlike our own.
