MANY THANKS to MARIK, BERNHARD and ALL of YOU
on: November 13, 2005, 06:30:33 PM
YOUR comments HELP a lot!!!
Since I went back to the faculty of music last year to study with a piano teacher, I noticed that I made some improvements.
This piano teacher is helping me to overcome my technical difficulties (He said to me it's all psychological in my case), but I don't always agree with him. Especially when he asks to practice Chopin's étude op. 25 no.11 my fingers striking the keys from above the keyboard at 2 or 3 cm height, with only the weight of each finger.
I'm trying to find out my own way of practicing.
You're ABSOLUTELY right Marik, not a long time ago, I suspected myself that staying tight, without releasing energy might be my main problem. It might come from the so-called weight technique that I did not integrate well to my piano playing.
I'll give you more news later on.
MANY MANY THANKS to all of you !!!!!!!!!
