Rachmaninoff! Good ol' C sharp minor Prelude Op 23 no 2

I just finished his G minor prelude number 5, not should be moving on to number 2, any hints, advice, tips, techniques, common mistakes i should be aware of?

No.2 of the Op.23 set is in Bb. Do you mean Op.3 No.2 which is indeed in C# minor?

Of course he means that. You see, It's a typo. If you look at your keyboard, there's a 2 next to the 3.

Yea, its Op.3 No.2, not 23, thats a typo, thierry knows me well, maybe we can go out together

i think that it is completely up to you, if you like the piece play it for you and no one else.

One of the great differences between how a professional plays this piece and the numerous amateurs lies in the voicing of the chords. Be extremely attentive to this, it will greatly affect the polish of your playing. Also, if you can, keep those interlocking hands at the beginning. We've discussed this before on the forum, but IMO the piece never looks quite right without them.
