Rage Over A Lost Penny

Any tips on how to tackle with Beethoven Rondo? It's by far the longest piece I have ever even thought of taking on (10 pages
)

good choice
i guess it would need very slow practice with a gradual increase in speed to get the clarity, especially in the runs on the second page. clarity is the main thing with these pieces imo.

learn and memorize both hands apart at two times the regular speed and then put them together.

The advantage of a rondo is the "A" theme keeps coming back, so once you've learned it you've learned a fair bit of the piece.

What a great piece. I only know how to play the theme, and have not had the wherewithal to attempt to the whole thing.
The theme is sometimes printed as a separate piece of sheet music, and I learned that before I even knew there WAS any more to it. The first time I heard the whole thing, I was blown away, and it's been on my short list of long pieces I would like to learn for quite a while now.
Good luck with it.

I learnt this song and completed it 3 months ago, it would take some time due to its length and its orchestral like complexity.
Make sure you get both of your hands all good before you even attempt to put them together, because the broken chords are a pain and make sure the melody is brought out with clarity
Enjoy!
