GESUALDO for piano???

Anyone has heard about ANY transcription of his Madrigals/ other pieces for piano? (
(Also could be Variations, pieces inspired by him, etc)

his music is so dark and sad even scary a bit, actually he's  my fav composer from middle age

Yes, paris, I mean Gesualdo from Venosa, who murdered his wife+her lover. His music is dark, but excellent, very modern at his time. Any transcriptions for piano???

well, middle age and renaissance are lasting together. (renaissance slightly longer though) there was ''venetian school'' which was more profane and more opened to chromatics, colours, texture, instruments..., while ''roman school'' was strictly church like palestrina and not toleranting profane influences
i'm not sure for piano transcriptions, but if i recall correctly he wrote many things for lute and choir. just i can't imagine his music on piano, dolcissima mia vita sounds so divine with choir
