question about Gaspard de la Nuit
on: November 25, 2005, 07:54:37 PM
How do you know where to put the soft pedal down in the Scarbo?

The way it's marked is confusing.

I see 2 pedals written, and then 2 pedals written later, never where to take the soft pedal off.

Do I just use the regular pedal markings for the soft pedal as well?

Use your ear, not pedal markings.

How come they don't have the sheet music for Gaspard de la nuit in the Piano Street Gold membership page?  Does anybody know where I can find it?
