my digital piano came "out of tune" once lol
on: November 27, 2005, 05:07:03 AM
I was messing around on my Digital piano, Bashing away the big chords in the Rach3 Cadenza. Suddenly it just came out of tune, a C sounded like a F#, but i turned it of and left it off 2 minutes and it came back.

Has this happened to any of you, and what caused it ?

I never had that happen with mine ^_^;; But on rare occasions my keys randomly act like they are being pushed at full speed, even though you press it lightly O_o Very off putting when playing a quiet melody.

Especially happens on the E Flat as well, swear every piece needs that bloomin key ¬_¬

I have one of the voices on mine programmed to sound one whole step lower than written.

Maybe somebody sneaked into your piano room and adjusted yours?

Greetings.

Perhaps what actually happened was you accidentally pressed the button that tunes the sound a half step. If you were playing big chords then that could have happened. When you turned it set itself back so. That might have happned.

Best Wishes to all.

Forgive me I've misread. I do occasionally misread the topic and answer the wrong question. I am working on it. :)

Best Wishes to all.

You sure? My p60 doesn't have buttons for this stuff to make it cheap. Instead you press certain piano key combinations to change sounds / change the tuning etc.

The keys are supposedly obscure to avoid this kind of thing, but I'd be surprised if there was no piece [or mistake when playing one] that couldn't make it happen.

OTOH, they use software which can no doubt have flaws.
