Halo is what ah call video game conglomeration. It takes everything thats good and a few annoying things from every FPS known to man (cept bots) and throwns it all into one hyper  noob friendly game. It then combines plot elements and situations from every good action movie and tries excessively hard to be "cool." Then it throws in an anouncer that just wont please and no real instant death head shots except with the worlds easiest head shotting sniper rifle. It functions on pure aggression. Letting up for a moment....

Haven't seen much for that King Kong movie that's coming out. Looks like another special effects showcase. I know some people are impressed by the visual effects in movies, but it just doesn't do it for me. I always think back to the CG from Jumanji, or even when they added things to the original StarWars movies; it seemed all nice and cool when they came out, but now you watch these movies and the animation sticks out like a sore thumb.

peter jackson is using CG as a means to an end, and that end is to produce an awesome and emotionally satisfying blockbuster.

its 3 hours long, and i know itll be awesome.
