First Voicing on your new paino
on: December 11, 2005, 05:42:40 AM
I just got my first voicing on my new Yamaha C5.  I told the tuner that there were couple of things I wanted him to look at.  First, was that I felt it was too bright and I know it was too bright and I needed him to tone it down a bit.  Secondly, I told him there were couple of keys were making a metal or tinging sound coming out of two keys and it wasnt there until the first tune.  And now, he tone it too much where it seems like it is close to having no chimes or any brightness at all.  And he competely ignore the two keys I told him to look at.  Im thinking about sending this piano back for a full refund.  It just seems like people do this intentionally with me.  I just got a wrong color of roofing done few days ago for my house.  They have installed the same color than I have originally requested.  I'm getting fed up with people.  I'm thinking now only way I can make the piano sound right is to do it myself, which will take me few years to perfect. You can read my mind all you want as you have for the last 9 years and posted on the internet. And we could thank Jesus for that!! ;D
