A few possibilities for a grand:
1. Make sure you're not actually hearing a sympathetic vibration from something outside of the piano such as a vase rattling nearby.
2. Look at the point where the string crosses the bridge. Is there a tiny, minute wood chip (i.e., manufacturing debris) lodged under the string? Use a magnifying glass if necessary to determine that. If yes, see if you can dislodge it.
3. Check the lid hinges. If they are L shaped rods, is the short leg of the L sticking out horizontally away from the piano rather than straight down toward the floor? If so, push the hinges into the down-pointing position.
4. If none of the above, call in your technician. He'll inspect the soundboard to ensure there is no crack in it to account for the buzz, or a wooden rib underneath that has become unglued. Also, if it turns out to be a string, he'll check the downbearing. He may also put a half or full twist on that string to correct the buzz.
5. Or, he might discover something else entirely.
Good luck!
