What piece is Hamelin playing in Part 1 of the documentary from 5:40 to 6:45?

Yeah. I tried twice to upload last night... took an our up to 89% then stopped, then took half an hour to get to 29% and then stopped again... sorry. i dont have the time.

Wow. The maximum file size that you can upload is 20 megs and the first movement of the Concerto is 27.4.

Music so vast it overflows computer capabilities...I love Alkan. 8)

I would upload the third movement (which is just about as insane as the first, though shorter), but I have an m4a file, not an mp3. I'll see if there's some way to change it. But I'd recommend buying Smith's album from the iTunes Music Store anyway - search "Etudes dans."

Oh, and for the record, the score for the Concerto (which I have in a Dover publications book) is 122 pages, 72 pages for the first movement alone. Remember that this is a solo piece we're talking about.
