Keyboard Purchase

Hey I am looking to buy a new electronic keyboard in the $150 range.  What do yall recomend?  I've seen 12-, 16-, and 24- note polyphony.  I'm relatively new to learning piano and don't quite know what I need.  Any recommendations?
