shoot - piano fallboard (urgent!)

i just got an important letter from someone and it slipped into the fallboard. then i tried to delicately put it down and it slipped right into the piano. i can't figure out how to pull the fall board out, and my technician is in florida on vacation. can anyone help me out?

I know on my Kawai KG-1E Grand piano, you first have to reach under the piano to unscrew the key blocks on both sides of the keys.

From there I just use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the fallboard to remove it.

Hopefully your piano design is that intuitive.

Try putting in a position between open and closed, then pull out towards you. If you have a soft close mechanism, it may slightly more complex. On my Yamaha I need to push in on the left side because of the spring then lift out.
