Anybody got the sheet music for this?
on: December 30, 2005, 10:49:13 AM
I know this is a Volodos transcription... but is it for two pianos? Or one? I have previously found that the sheet music I have got for this Polka Italienne is for one piano, but is not as complicated as the mps posted below. Listen and be amazed!!! I just hope it's for one piano 'cos i want to make a sound that big!!!
So, anybody got the sheet music?
Thanks,
Tom
P.S. I know the mp3 says it's four hands, but im sure that Volodos is playing solo... if this is a 4 hand version, please could someone post an mp3 of the normal solo Volodos transcription please?
Working on: Schubert - Piano Sonata D.664, Ravel - Sonatine, Ginastera - Danzas Argentinas

There are at least 2 versions of this if not more. I think Volodos like Horowitz changes things slightly with his own transcriptions.

The recording on your attachment is definately solo although it sounds like more at times. My sight reading is not the best but the attached score is very close.

There is a video that i downloaded on da mule of an open air concert in which Volodos plays this. I nearly fell off my chair when i saw it.

here you have the whole version  https://www.abrahamespinosa.com/partituras2.htm

Do you maybe have mp3 Volodos playing his version of Mozart's Alla Turca?

That is the Jensen version, which i feel departs further from Tompliks mp3.

Perhaps a combination of the 2??
