Hamelin's Tico-Tico no Fuba
on: December 31, 2005, 07:53:55 PM
Hello

I was just wondering if this piece has ever been recorded and if so, which album is it on? I have the midi file of it but thats not really the same.

Thanks

Marc-André Hamelin's almost up-to-date discography doesn't list this piece as being recorded by him and since I cannot imagine anybody besides him recording this, I'd say it's safe to assume that it has not been recorded. I guess you'll have to listen to your MIDI for now.

P.S. As a kid I pronounced “MIDI” em-eye-dee-eye rather than middy.

I was afraid of that, and I think you are right that no one else would probably get the idea of recording it.

Thanks for taking your time to check it out!
