(phil13 notices that the responses so far have been surprisingly pleasant, and beams radiantly)

Does anyone want to delve deeper into why it's good? What they like about it? I love feedback, whether it be positive or negative.

Phil

I'm not sure. You made it sound like it was composed 200 years ago,(thats a good thing), though at times it sounded a bit modernish.(Which is good because otherwise it might be a bit boring.) ;D Oh, and you know how I said it was very good? I decided to upgrade that to an "excellent!" :D

Awesome! It's really cool to hear that.

I have a few other copyrighted pieces that I could build sound files for, if anyone else is interested in hearing them. A few are very short, but two are MASSIVE, so it might take some time.

Phil

Ooooohhh.... Ahhhhhhhh..... Copyright........ *drools*

Sure. I'd like to here your songs. Don't bother uploading the huge ones unless more people want them, though.

Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
