30 min Recital
on: January 04, 2006, 01:47:19 AM
What do you think of this program:

Schumann:

Romanze Op 28-2 in F# -
Kresleriana 3 in G minor -

Brahms:

Intermezzo Op 76-7 in A minor
Intermezzo Op 118-2 in A major
Intermezzo Op 116-5 in E minor
Rhapsody Op 119-4 in Eb.

Do you like the order?
Comments?

Thanks
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

Two of my favorite composers.  This is not a criticism, but why didn't you choose the Brahms all from just one opus? It's a great program. Go for it!

just listened to a bunch of clara schumann's compositions and my 'fave' are praludium und fuge and valses romantiques op.4 because they show off her little twists of harmonic genius.  what if you put a couple of her pieces in between?  just an idea.
