Unfinished Symphonies
on: January 09, 2006, 07:27:00 PM
Hey Guys

I was watching a show on Einstein on the Discovery Channel and at the end it was talking about his Unified Theory. Along with this topic in the background they were playing a very beautiful piano tune. The show announced that the Unified Theory was for Einstein a sort of unfinished symphony. I looked up famous unfinished symphonies and saw that Franz Schubert’s 8th Symphony was a famous unfinished one. Upon renting the track from the library I found it was not the one I am looking for.

Does anyone know famous unfinished symphonies that might be a match?

It may just as well be a normal symphony. Can't you check the program notes or credits?

Bruckner's 9th could have been the greatest symphony ever!  If only its finale had been finished.
