Since Koji will predictably get a large amount of votes (and deservedly so) I would vote for Electrafingers, all of the recordings he has posted have been of a very high quality. I also heard a Beethoven 4th he posted on Chopin Files once which was awesome.

I think that's the point, the glaring discrepancy b/w what is claimed and what is posted.

I'm quite surprised and flattered to find my name on this list, because, quite frankly, people like koji and gaer are in a different (higher) league altogether!

That said, I would not vote because it is so difficult to decide between those two pianists - each have their own unique strengths, and moreover, a fair comparison would only be possible if gaer recorded on a beautfiul acoustic piano (as in koji's recording). Also, I am surprised that crazy for ivan moravec isn't on this list - his scriabin was breathtaking!

The best recording I've heard was by alhimia (or something like that, sorry about forgetting). I also liked some stuff by crazy for i.m. but he was not on the list either. Oh well.
