I voted for Tash because of her original use of metaphor, which has a distinctly Joycean appeal.

Yes you are, Tash, you are very funny indeed, and you have a real gift for humorous language. It isn't about flattery. It is precisely the incongruity of images and the juxtaposed contrasts of unrelated thought which are so fresh and hilarious. I have never read anything quite like it and I think you would do well to consider working at writing fiction.

In this day and age when seemingly any fool and his dog can write a "blockbuster" replete with oh so explicit repulsive descriptions, mechanistic violence, calculated conflict and uniformly tedious copulation, there remain two things supremely rare. They are the ability to seriously frighten and the capacity to make us shake with laughter.  I think there is a reasonable chance you have the latter if you cared to work at it.

who the smeg are JCquin and lau? I'd vote for Tibidi or Chromatickler, of those on the list probably Stevie. Thalbergmad is funny though mildly disturbing. Pianistimo too, because of her rambling incoherent posts. Tash is a random. For funniest post ever the honour would go to SteinwayTony.

Thalbergmad is funny though mildly disturbing.

I object to the use of the word mildly.

I like Thalbergmad's humor, partly because he knows that we all know that he is - but not really, but it's still funny - unmildly disturbing.    ::)
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
