I find myself longing for more of Bernhard's excruciatingly detailed explanations of fingering strategies for the Sinfonia.    I need a regular dose of Bernhardism or I start to feel, well, sloppy and slipshod!  Bernhard is bracing, like the wind off the North Sea.

I think Stevie is right. He was such a nice man, he probably did not want us to worry us, so he passed away without telling us.

My theory is he was stabbed by a student who brought his Hanon into a lesson.
