Is this the list you are going to choose from? I ask because this is not the complete syllabus list.

I played:
Domenico Scarlatti : Sonata in D, Kp. 535 (most people i have known do it recently have done this)
Mozart : Allegro moderato : Sonata in C ,K. 330/300h, 1st movement (not too taxing... but the trills and stuff can wreck your hands... look at the top of the last page... argh!)
Franz Liszt : Dem Andenken Petofis (unusual and nice... especially second page... ha e you seen my video in teh audition room? https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php/topic,13976.0.html)
THe arensky is also nice and the beethoven b piece is exciting... and so is the alternative mendelssohn scherzo... but you have to buy the sheet music separately for that... or download...

Working on: Schubert - Piano Sonata D.664, Ravel - Sonatine, Ginastera - Danzas Argentinas

Have you looked on the ABRSM website? Their student and piano forums should be able to help. Also I think ABRSM now have CDs of their grade syllabus pieces.

I am still not sure which one to choose in List C. Maybe the Mendelsson "Scherzo"
Any body else doing this? My teacher said it is the easiest one.

For everyone who plays A1 Allemande, please advice this
Should I use "non-legato" for the left hand, in eg Bar 5-9, Bar 29 -  28 etc. My teacher asks me to use non-legato for all the non-tied notes (but still holding the tied note). He said this is the way to play Bach. But I listen to the CDs and heard no one plays like that. Is it the right thing to do esp in the exam?
