on: January 29, 2006, 06:36:12 PM
I don't know what i should play. He wants something nice and slow. Please come with suggestions, and  the sheets for the piece also.

Thanks
Triton :)

Intermezzo in A major, op.118, no.2 by Brahms is a very beautiful, slow piece.

Or, play My Heart will Go on from the Titanic ;D

I agree with Brahms Intermezzo op.118/2, you can also play one of the Chopin's Nocturnes-op.9/2 or op.27/2 or c sharp minor op.posth or Chopin's Etude op.10/3; Liszt Liebestraume no.3; Schumann's Arabesque op.18 or Das Abens from his Fantasiestucke op.12/1.

i was going to suggest liebstraume no. 3!!! anyway... perhaps an arrangement of 18th variation on a theme of Paganini? I hate arrangements myself, but i think it is a nice piece which people like...

Charles-Valentin Alkan, from Grande sonate "Les Quatre Ages", 50 ans. Prométhée enchaîné. Item 33 at: https://alkan.assos.free.fr/ .

Er, well, maybe not, it's not a happy piece...

Again thanks!

Rêverie by Debussy.
It's pretty easy so you could learn it quickly, It's very well known so even nonmusicians have heard it and it's almost as haunting as his LCaire De Lune and LIke I said far easier.
