Adam Schaaf

I've been playing on a restored Adam Schaaf baby grand since the beginning of my piano days, but I noticed that it's not really that common, or at least not that I have seen.  Is anyone else familiar with them?  If so, what are your thoughts?  The one that I have is kind of old, but I like it for the most part.  The only thing I find annoying about mine is the fact that you can't just barely sound the keys.  You can't have a light touch and expect it to sound.  Although, that's probably due to the age and/or my playing skills.
