Good technique with Beringer?
on: October 17, 2003, 10:09:07 PM
It has called my attention that when talking about methods to improve technique Hanon, Czerny,Brahms and others are mentioned but not Oscar Beringer Daily Technical Studies which i think are very good, but i would like to know your opinion about them. Have I been wrong all these years?
Thanks a lot for your feedback.

i've been doing beringer for years - in fact they are the only studies i ever did. i think they're excellent - although one has to be careful - choosing the right ones is important. i found that some of them were over strenous and, possibly, a little pointless. exercise for the sake of exercise as it were.
