Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue
on: October 20, 2003, 09:26:35 AM
could anybody send me Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue?  I really want to learn the piano riff that is known by everyone, the eerie, dark, one, sort of like moonlight sonata, except it's only a small part of his score.  Thanks`

If you're not already familiar with it, also check out Gershwin's Second Rhapsody.  It's not as well known, but once you hear it, you'll probably like it as much as the Rhapsody in Blue.  They're both great pieces.
Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.

I know the second rhapsody and although the material is good I don't think it is developed enough and therefore the piece only just about sustains itself,
