I'm in the newspaper!!!
on: February 15, 2006, 11:55:09 PM
I am playing in a concert celebrating Mozart's birthday on Feb. 19th and we had a dress rehearsal last Friday. (Feb.10th I think) At the end there was a news reporter who took pics of everyone, and sure enough, I'm in today's newspaper! :D Has anyone here been in a newspaper/ news show?

I have been in the newspaper here and there, but it was for sports not music related.

that is very cute!  i have one of my daughter at the piano (but not newspaper clipping) - though she was recently in the paper for honors roll for 6th grade.  at least somebody in the family made the newspaper once.

Our local newspaper is the type which has pictures and articles about just about everything, in the hope that you will buy it since you're in it (worked for me though).  I've appeared in pictures and results of competitions and things, but the best bit was having my rather informal recital in a library promoted on the second page. and i didn't have to pay anything for the advertisement  ;D

Maybe some day I'll get an article about me in Northern Ireland's main newspaper the Belfast Telegraph.  The UK national press though... i wish   ::)

Ya, that's right. I wish they could have done it closer to his actual birthday. :'(  I wonder why they're doing it Feb. 19?
