a personal challenge- reasonable?
on: February 25, 2006, 10:59:27 PM
Okay. Not reasonable. Doable.
I challenge myself to learn the complete WTC (thanks to finding Edward Aldwell's recording of book 2 in a used CD store yesterday for cheap. wowza. awesome playing) and Chopin's complete mazurkas (because I just AM a mazurka girl) in 2 years.
As well as finish highschool with a 3.7 GPA and get into college with academic scholarships (which is more than possible, huzzah I'm so smat.. smart.. yeah
).
Doable? Or should I splash cold water over my face and wake up?

You can only ask yourself--that's why it's a personal challenge.

You must always challenge yourself to get better.
Now what we need are challenges between two pianists/composers. Like a Mozart/Clementi duel. Did you know that the king or prince or whoever was judging that declared it a tie?
