What would you say was a good Scarlatti sonata for a concert, being technically (reasonably!) difficult and exciting?  Any personal favourites?

Sonata in D major K. 430
Sonata in G major K. 13
Sonata in G major K. 260
Sonata in A major K. 39
Sonata in G major K. 201

Hamelin's Etude No. 6 (Omaggio a Domenico Scarlatti)
Chuck Norris didn't lose his virginity- he systematically tracked it down and destroyed it.

Does anyone knows which Scarlatti's were the  favourite ones for Vladimir Horowitz?

don't know vladimir horowitz's favorites.

personally, after being introduced to pogorelich's scarlatti - i don't think he can be outdone.  i esp. like his pairing of the K 9 and K 119  (d minor and D major) sonatas.  i've been working on them both - and am sort of imitating him - and finding it difficult to come up with better interpretations.  perhaps i should never have listened until i had some ideas of my own.  (with smaller pieces - listening first might not be good).

I think k.96 and k.119 would be great for a concert.  Do you guys think it would be a bad idea to put them together in a concert if they are in the same key?

K 141 is both dramatic and difficult--has very fast repeated notes.
